A mother sits on the bed, test in hand and tears coming down her face. "What will I do God!? How am I suppose to manage 3 kids by myself!? The father has left me, I am broken and more lost than I have ever been? Why me, that's all I want to know!" The mother never gets a reply, but decides to keep the baby and push past all the uncertainty.
Months later she is blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Shortly after birth, the baby becomes sick. As the mother sobs by her daughters bed, god comes to her.
"You don't have to do this" he says. "I know, but I want to" She replies. "It isn't going to be easy. You will have to quit your job and money will become scarce. She will be sick all of the time, and raising her will be your biggest challenge yet. She will be blind, so teaching her things will not come easy. This will be the hardest job you have ever had." He says as he wipes away her tears. "God" she says as she looks up at him. "I don't care what she is, or will be. I don't care if she is blind, deaf and mute. I don't care about the challenges that I will face, or the stress I know I will feel. I can handle anything and everything that comes with having her, just promise I can keep her. Please don't take her from me." With a smile on his face, and a tear coming from his eye he replies, " Remember when you asked long ago, why you?" She nods with a very curious look. "You were broken, lost and on a path of destruction. I sent her to you, because I knew you needed her, more than she needed you. I am proud of the woman you have become. As long as you know me, and trust me, I will always provide. You need not to worry. I am always with you." God leaves the room, and as days pass, the baby gets stronger. The mother continues to pursue a relationship with god, and he keeps his promise to provide.

Savannah, even if god gave me the choice to pick the baby I would raise, I'd choose you every time. I wouldn't give my new life up with you for anything in the world. You make your mommy proud, and I look forward to watching you grow.
